Photographer Invoice Template
A photography invoice should distinguish the shoot, post-production, physical products, and usage license. Clients can then approve the work and understand what rights they purchased.
Photography line items
- Session or day rate: event, date, location, and covered hours.
- Editing and retouching: number of final images or agreed package.
- Prints and albums: size, quantity, and finish.
- Travel or studio rental: list separately when reimbursable.
- Commercial license: state media, territory, and term.
- Deposit and balance: show prior payments clearly.
Payment notes
Add the booking or contract number, accepted payment methods, due date, and late policy. Do not use invoice text to grant broader image rights than the signed agreement.
